Why We Gather
SAMA began with a simple belief:
Filipina women deserve spaces where they do not have to explain themselves
Spaces where stories are honored
Where hospitality is practiced
Where cultural memory is shared
Where laughter comes easily
Where every woman is welcomed as she is
We are not gathering to become someone new. We are gathering to remember.
What It Feels Like to Gather

Meet Grace
Hi, I'm Grace.
I'm a Filipina, a wife, a mother, and the founder of SAMA.
For years, I carried a quiet longing for a place where Filipina women could gather without having to explain themselves. A place where our stories, traditions, questions, and laughter could all belong.
That longing became SAMA.
I've always believed that some of the most meaningful conversations happen around a table, over something warm to drink, in a space where people feel genuinely welcomed.
My hope is that every woman who walks through the door leaves feeling a little more connected to herself, to her heritage, and to the women beside her.
It would be an honor to welcome you.
